Geralds Bar San Sebastián kitchen is much more than a simple kitchen.
Believing in great local produce, cooked well we have gathered a small team of great chefs.Nick Hughes and Lorenzo Herrero both share a passion and sensitivity for seasonal soul food.
Nick Hughes started as a chef in England, has worked in Italy and Australia and is on a constant search for new ideas. With his love of food and passion for cooking, he is excited to be part of the local gastronomic ‘Movida’.
Loren Herrero, is a native ‘Donostiarra’, has worked in some of the best kitchens in San Sebastian and in Spain. His love of traditional flavours and produce coupled with his experience in modern cooking has given him the confidence to ‘cook from the heart’.
Together they bring to the Geralds Bar kitchen an exciting and creative mix of ideas and techniques.
Raul Gallardo acts as a kitchen hand, but we believe that soon, and thanks to his butchering background and great vibe in the kitchen, will become the apprentice that will rise above his masters.
